Merry Monday #296 - Barn Door and A Sad Farewell

Hi there,
It's Monday and time for a new challenge and our last at Merry Monday.  This week Nina would like us to make a Rustic Christmas card.  I used the Barn Door Stamps from Stampin' Up and did a Double Barn Door for my card.  As you can see from the photos the doors open and a Message is revealed.  I coloured the stamp with Markers for the inside sentiment.  The bow on the Wreath is Gold embossed.  The dog inside is coloured with my Aqua Painter and sleeping on some straw.  Hope you like it!

Unfortunately Lesley Croghan has decided to close the Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge Blog so this will be the last lot of Inspiration from the Design Team.  So we bid you a fond farewell

Merry Monday #295 - Christmas Sweets

Hi there,
It's time for another Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge.  This week Marcia has an Inspiration Photo for us to be inspired by.  I stamped my jars on window sheets and placed the stamped sweets behind on the Designer Paper and then placed them over the top once I had added the Twine.  I finished off with the Gold Foil die cut.

Merry Monday #294 - Aussie Christmas

Hi there,
This week Leanne is challenging us to Use a Barn on our Christmas cards.  My Scene with the Barn is a typical Australian Christmas with the Sun blazing and when temperatures soar to over 100 degrees in the shade.  Most farms in Australia have a few Windmills to pump water from one place to another and from under the ground   Hope you will join us and start or continue to make cards for the festive season.

Merry Monday #291 - Sweet Holiday Wishes

Gidday Everyone,
It's Monday and time for a new challenge at Merry Monday.  Our Hostess this week is Kelly and she is challenging us to Add Candy Canes, Cookies or Sweets to our card.  I finally purchased the Sweet Holiday Wishes Bundle from Papertrey Ink after admiring it on other Stampers cards for some time.  I really love all the layers to the cookies, they take a little bit of time to put together but each cookie looks amazing when completed.  I added the Basket Weave embossing to the Background love how my card turned out.  Hope you will join us this week for this fun challenge.

Merry Monday #289 - Christmas Star

Hi there,
It's Monday and time for a new challenge at Merry Monday, Debbie is challenging us to Use a Star on our Christmas cards this week.   I made two cards this week in slightly different colour ways.  The stamped Star is Silver Embossed and placed in the cut out star for some extra interest, the Merry Christmas is layered 4 times with White and Basic Grey card and the top layer was painted with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen. The Whisper White Mat is dry embossed with the Lucky Stars E/Folder and I finished off with some Metallic Enamel Shapes.
